Franklin Street, after almost a year of speculation, has settled in on plans for a 50 story tower at the old TCF downtown Minneapolis site. According to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal –
The latest plan includes co-developing a tower with a full-service hotel, residential apartments and office space, according to the filing. Franklin Street would contribute the land and between $80 million and $90 million to own 100 percent of the 260,000 square feet of office space that will be in the middle of the proposed tower.
Franklin Street is working with an undisclosed residential group and an undisclosed hotel company to further evaluate the project, according to the filing.
Minneapolis based Perkins+Will Architects, Ryan Cos. US Inc. and CBRE Group are all assisting Franklin Street with its plans.
